Why do I always get my creative writing sparks at 1 in the morning like right now and I have an 8am? Who cares, I'm writing a blog post if I don't do it now who knows when I'll do it.
I have fallen in love with editing music. Audacity is awesome. My reasons for editing music shall remain confidential because they aren't just for fun. I started this as a personal project but got addicted. Thinking of the possibilities, I could edit songs to make anything I wanted. Mashing up songs I like. You know how life would be better if we lived with background music? I COULD MAKE MY OWN BACKGROUND MUSIC! Oh the possibilities...
Keene State College Class of 2014 has a petition to get William Daniels as a guest speaker at their graduation. Cool right? Oh right, it's pretty cool, because William Daniels is MR. FEENY FROM BOY MEETS WORLD! FEENY! I'm not even graduating with that class and I signed the petition. I'm going to that graduation not for my friends who are graduating, but for Feeny. Would it be extreme if I decided to take extra classes so I could graduate with them just to see Feeny?
I <3 Feeny
WWFD: What Would Feeny Do?
Allie and I watched Memento again. Allie's interpretation of the end was a lot different than mine and it definitely made me think a lot about it even a week after I watched it again. Christopher Nolan is my favorite director. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. In the top 10.
Here's my Top 10.
1. Inception
2. Space Jam
3. Boondock Saints
4. V for Vendetta
5. Horrible Bosses
6. Memento
7. The Dark Knight
8. Fight Club
9. Scott Pilgrim
10. Any Nicolas Cage movie
I worked on Super Bowl Sunday. Guess who missed the entire game? Me. As I'm walking back around 9:30 I just got back on campus when I heard screams from 3 different buildings that were surrounding me while Allie was rapidly tweeting and texting me updates. I RAN into the student center to see the Giants had taken the lead and saw that I walked in with :57 left in the game. Oh what a disappointing :57 it was. I ate my sorrows away with bacon and pepperoni Dominos pizza and played a board game called Aluen Frontiers with Allie, Justin, Ryan, and Virginia spectating.
I have reached 4,000 tweets. I spent a lot of time wondering what my 4,000th would be. I asked Allie if I should have just said the word "Poop." and she shook her head in disappointment. I then got a tweet from @KrisConUnK saying "Make it about poopy..." I can't make this shit up...see what I did there?

I beat Skyrim's main quest! Only took 40 hours, no big deal. It was awesome! Can't wait to keep playing, not just to Platinum it which I'm planning on doing, but because there is so much I haven't done. I expect myself to put in at least another 45 - 50 trying to complete everything. Skyrim is one of the few games I've played on PS3 where trophies mean NOTHING to me and I'm practically ignoring them because I don't care and I only care about how great the gameplay is. The only other PS3 game that I didn't care about trophies at all and just wanted to play strictly for the gameplay was Call of Duty 4 and that didn't even have trophies. Yeah, everyone needs to play this game.
In music news, I have found a bunch of new music that I wanted to share. First up is "Iron" by Woodkid. Some of you may know this from the Assassin's Creed: Revelations trailer. It has a really intense beat with heavy drums in the background and a kick-ass video.
Next up is "Alive and Amplified" by The Mooney Suzuki. I was watching Fun with Dick and Jane and this came on during the robbery scene. It was really hard to find out what the song was because the chorus, without knowing the lyrics beforehand, sounded like "Turn me on and turn me on and turn me on and turn me on AYE, AYE, AYE-AYE-AYE-AYE AYE! AYE!" So all I googled was "Fun with Dick and Jane song turn me on" and found it. I won't say what the actual lyrics are so you can see if you understand them in the chorus at first. If not, google it. It sounds pretty clear after you find out what they are.
Last one. Super Mash Bros just released a new album! Mile(y) High Club is free on Facebook so you should go to their page and check it out! Probably their best album yet. You can never go wrong with mixing a rap song with the Rugrats theme or "Jump on it!" by Sugar Hill Gang with "Wild Wild West" by Will Smith.
I've decided what I want to do with my life. I want to be a journalist. I recently decided I want to major in journalism. Allie actually recommended it to me that I major in it and I fell in love with the idea. I absolutely love writing, especially about stuff that is real and relates to me and what I like. This blog is a prime example. I suck at creative writing. I only like writing about stuff that matters to me and stuff that is actually real and happening that affects me. She also said I'm a great writer. I'm not saying I am or not, I don't know if I am, it's not up to me to decide that, the bottom line is that I like writing.
My dream job would be working at IGN.com. That would combine two of my favorite hobbies, gaming and writing. If I could write articles on gaming, write reviews, previews, do interviews, etc, I would love that. It would let me write about something that I love and that I am interested in. This is a serious aspiration of mine. After I graduate I would love to be a journalist, whether I'm at IGN or not.
Speaking of interviews, for my journalism class I'm in, I had my first interview I needed to conduct an interview with the director of the bookstore here at school on the affordability of college, rising tuition costs, etc. I conducted the interview which took about a half hour. This was my first interview I have ever done. Ever. After it was done the director said "Over the years I have done many interviews about this topic, and I gotta say, you had the best questions of them all. Are you a senior?" Needless to say I was very proud of myself that the interview went so well and that he really liked me. I was shaking I was so nervous before the interview but that interview soon turned into a conversation between two people which I loved. It was very casual while hitting the points I needed to to get some answers.
I miss my friends in Nashua. I want to go see Kris in Ohio now...I don't want to wait until end of March to fly out and hang out with him. I just wanna hang with Kris, Kevin, Jake, Erika, Leah, Aneudys and John in the Bartol's basement playing LittleBigPlanet and You Don't Know Jack! and making fun of each other, or having double dates with Allie, Meghan and Adam.
There's a job on campus during the summer from the day after finals to the day before classes start again that pays $9 an hour with 40-hour weeks which would equal some serious cash money but the only thing keeping me from applying is all of my friends back home. The only time I see them is over breaks and I don't want to go months without seeing them when I could see them every day. On the bright side Aneudys (and possibly Leah?) is/are coming up to Keene next week so that will be awesome.
I just miss everyone. Cue the sad faces.
And at 3 in the morning, I'm out of stuff to talk about.
Number 10 on my list is a lie, by the way.
