I changed my title! "I'm Hilarious" is no more. Now this is #collegelife. (Read that title however you want, I'm just going to say it as "college life" not as "hashtag college life.") I needed to change it and I feel like this fits the theme of my blog and my life more than before. With a new title comes a different layout. I spent a while trying to fix it to make it perfect, I like it better than the plain black.
The stuff I write in this blog isn't going to change. I changed the title to fit what I was writing. Pretty much the only things that have changed are the title and the layout. The URL is the same too (nickgarrity.blogspot.com.)

FIRST, I'd like to say that I was proud of myself when I said the comment about sucking dick being a woman's job because her comeback to that was that it was "#boring" but I didn't mean it. I only said it to piss her off and that's not how I feel. It was 2am when I sent that and I normally wouldn't say something like that. Just wanted to clear that part up. SECOND, I think we have a Level 7 BIIIIIIITCH on our hands. I said nothing sexist for her to start this bitch-fest. Saying that there are no funny women comedians isn't sexist, it's pretty much a fact (Except I found two exceptions, Kathy Griffin and Ellen Degeneres are both hilarious. (Ellen used to do stand up))

I had a dream that Kelsey (@kelseyoneshoe) had a baby and I was taking care of him.
In my ITW we were peer editing our 15-page papers. I read a paper that could have been written BETTER by an 8th grader. It was painful to read. The title was "Socio-economic class: The society of Martial Arts" but focused more on naming different kinds of martial arts and giving the history of Bruce Lee. I was cringing at some points reading this paper. This wasn't a college paper this was a more of a "Hey! Let me write down everything I know about Martial Arts that has nothing to do with the title" paper.
For the first time ever I'm doing Black Friday. I found this deal where it's a 160GB PS3, and not one but two games (Rachet and Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2) all for $200. I'l be standing in line at Gamestop at Midnight.
Kris made a Christmas List on his blog...I want to.

I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted a blog. Working 31 hours a week sucks. Even all of my friends are saying I've "fallen off of the face of the earth." and that sucks. I miss hanging out with my friends. The bitchy and douche-y customers I have everyday aren't as fun...

You're ridiculous thinking that women aren't funny. look at all of the female comedians that have been successful like Chelsea Lately. And yes, it is completely sexist to say that women comedians aren't funny because you are generalizing just because you don't know the woman on "Who's Line is it Anyway?" isn't funny. You say, "Advocate women's rights. I don't care" but yet you are making fun of her in the beginning for being a feminist and saying rude comments about feminists. Think about that next time you try to prove a point. In terms of your ITW peer editing, the person who you're talking about can probably read this, although its not me i think its annoying that youre talking crap about them, their skills, and their hard work via your blog. I bet you acted like the paper was great and were extremely fake when you gave pointers.

ReplyDeleteThat person picked the absolute worst example of a female "comedian". All Chelsea Lately does is make fun of people. That's her thing. How is that funny? It's not. I, myself, being female totally agree that Women comedians are not funny. He's not saying they don't have potential to be funny. It just seems the way that females present their material is just not as catching or as vocal, or interesting as how certain men present theirs. It is not sexist in any way. You're just reading too deep into the whole issue. It's his opinion in which he rightfully owns. There is no need to attack his opinion with yours, making it seem like yours is a fact, which in all reality what your saying is your own opinion as well.

I'm quite glad I know only the people I know, then, because after CathRoses v.2's pms-induced tweetfest about how feminists are just better (poor attitude, CRose v.2...) I've had the urge to 1. Slap her until my hands fall off and 2. Disregard anything that someone else says proving highly of her. She is bad at being a person, that is all that is to be said. She can't tell when something is true and that she oughta just drop it, can't agree with anything she doesn't like, can't act like an adult, and well you know what if people weren't also bad at being people they'd see how bad of a person CathRose v.2 is. She's a dick even though she hates them.

For the record, Nick isn't sexist at all. He just hates people on the internet atacking him for no reason and shoving their ideas down his throat. Just like most of us would. So what if he doesnt like female comedians? I happen to usually like male singers more than female does that make me sexist? I dont think so. As a girl, what Nick said about female comedians is not offensive. But after being attacked he didn't take shit from random people on the internet. That doesnt make him sexist. No one is forcing you to read his tweets or his blog. you dont like it? gtfo.
